I have confronted many opinions in this fandom, and I always try to see the other side. But what he told me I simply can’t. It does not matter if you like Snape or not, for me it’s common sense that Alan Rickman did Snape wonderfully.

Snape was meant to be 31 in the first film.  Alan Rickman is older than my grandmother.  I love him and his intonation is perfect, but because of his age he gives Snape an appearance and characterisation that isn’t accurate.

Exactly my point.
